Removing an old device

The algorithm for dismantling the old towel dryer is:

• Turn off the hot water supply to the pipe to which the coil will be attached.

Important! Naturally, before shutting off the valve, write the appropriate application to the Housing Office.

• Remove the dryer. The easiest way is to unscrew the threaded connections. If the thread does not loosen or the device is welded to the pipeline, cut it off with a grinder.

Important! Cut the pipe so that the rest can be threaded.

How to install bypass?

Bypass - jumper, made of polypropylene pipe. To install a bypass, install ball valves at the edges of the pipe, which, if necessary, block the flow of water. If there is a bypass, circulation in the riser will be maintained even when the heated towel rail is turned off.

Important! It is advisable to install an additional ball valve in the bypass to remove air. In this case, the working fluid will circulate freely along the coil.

Installation of cranes

If you did not unscrew, but cut off the old dryer, then on the pipe sections cut the thread with a “handle” of a suitable diameter. If the dismantling of the old coil was “civilized”, then it is enough to process the thread with a die to make the connection more reliable.

After the thread is ready for use, mount the taps that will serve as stop valves:

• Opening and closing the taps, you can adjust the intensity of the coils.
• If necessary (repair or replacement of equipment) with the help of taps block the water.

Mounting the coil

1. Fix the brackets to the walls.
2. Hang the coil on the brackets.
3. Connect the structure to the cranes on the bypass using bushings or fittings.
