Replace a broken component

Well, for a successful result, you should follow these tips:

• We take a curly screwdriver in our hands and proceed to dismantle the seat from the special “swing” mechanism, or piastra. Just turn the office chair over, mark the side of the swing mechanism on the front and unscrew the four screws that secure the chair seat to this mechanism. The case can be removed to the side.
• We remove the protective cover and take the gas cartridge into your left hand so that the mechanism looks down. Hit with moderate force by tapping the base of the gas lift. Make sure that the mechanism itself does not deform.

Important! If dismantling the structure did not work, then use a vice and rotate the installation.

• If the structure has been removed, you can safely knock out the broken component from its crosspiece: just turn the parts upside down with the rollers and carefully knock the part out of the cone with a metal drift.

Important! Be careful not to inflict mechanical damage to the front of the cross and stiffeners.

• If the component has been dismantled, then further work will go like clockwork. We assemble the chair by screwing the swing mechanism to the back seat, to make sure that everything corresponds to its position.
• Now just lower the cross on the wheels and remove the transportation cap from the gas cartridge. We insert a new component into the design, forgetting about the correspondence of the diameters of the parts.
• We put on a protective casing and case in their places. If all the actions were performed without errors, then you can put your hands on the surface of the case and check the operability of all elements.

Important! If there are any problems with the new element, then there is a chance that you are faced with factory defects. Before contacting the manufacturer, check the button lock on the element with the lever. It is also not recommended to press the button if the component is in your hands.
