What do we need?

  • First of all, we need a wire. It needs to be taken 6 meters. You can take a two-core wire or two single-core, but the twisted pair will look the most beautiful, which will give your retro garland a festive look.
  • 10 lamps and as many cartridges for them.
  • Fork.
  • Tools (plug, screwdriver, nippers).
  • Sewing meter.

Important! You can choose the number of lamps to your taste - it depends on their power. Too bright bulbs in large quantities will look intrusive.

Garland Assembly:

  1. We divide (or cut) the wire into 9 parts of 50 cm, the remaining end will be 1.5 m.
  2. If you cut it, we clean the ends with a knife or nippers. It is best if there is a special tool for removing wire insulation.
  3. If you left the wire intact, then remove the insulation from a small area between the marked areas.

Important! Try to do this carefully so as not to damage it. It is better to twist the bare part of the wire with loops - so it will be easier to insert it into the base.

  1. We prepare cartridges, remove the upper part from them, insert the stripped ends or “ears” into the base.

Important! We use a parallel connection in connecting the lamps. Then, if one of them burns out, the remaining lamps will still burn.

  1. We connect the plug to the long end. Instead of a plug, you can attach a dimer using a special adapter.

Important! Thanks to the dimer, you can change the incandescent power of the spiral of light bulbs.

Everything, a garland of incandescent bulbs with your own hands is ready! She looks stylish and beautiful and will adorn any friendly gatherings both at home and in the yard.>
