4. Then, in the center of each of them, drill a hole, fill the space under the floorboards with glue.
5. Fix the boards on the floor with screws or “liquid nails”.
6. Close the caps of the screws with wooden caps or just put them on.
7. Coat the repaired planks with decorative varnish.

Method 2

If the floor creaks immediately around the entire perimeter, there are large cracks, then it is necessary to dismantle all the strips, replace the substrate and re-lay them.

Important! Such restoration is carried out only on condition that the boards have retained their shape and presentation.

Method 3

If the floor creaks only in the area where the boards are in contact with the wall, then it is enough to remove several planks that touch the wall and cut them off by 10 cm. Then the boards are put back into place and the baseboard is installed.

Then they are ground, varnished.

How to get rid of cracks, chips, scratches on a parquet board?

Minor scratches can be removed with a wax pencil. If, due to mechanical stress, large chips or scratches appear on the boards, then you can easily repair them:

1. The damaged area is carefully sanded and degreased.
2. Chips or scratches are overwritten with putty and remain as such until completely dry.
